Each and every time I switch on my pc, a message appears that Norton blocked the Spyware.IE Toolbar. I close this message and continue. Outlook sending and receiving emails is fine but when I go to Internet Explorer, at no specific interval, the Norton message appears that it has found Spyware. I click on fix and then it shuts Explorer down.
I paid the premium to Norton to resolve the problem and they have attempted TWICE, to remove the infection, but it is still there.
My PC is running VERY slow. At various times, Explorer hangs - often when I'm typing in a forum similar to this and when I click on post, the connection is gone and I need to reboot.
I want to transfer files to another pc but am concerned about this as I believe I would be transferring the Spyware.
Files in the temp folder are regularly deleted.
I have deleted / removed any unnecessary programs.
I am due to renew my Norton but am concerned that the program is detecting but not removing this problem.
I'm frustrated and unsure what to do. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
