A sports club of which I'm a member is trying to set up a website. The person doing it seems PC-savvy - she is using her boyfriend's server and he has set up a temporary space on it for her to do websites on it and so his PC is being used as a test server, so to speak.
Her email address is fishesXXX@googlemail.com and the link that she gave me to the 'draft' website is https://fishesXXX.co.uk/. My XXX's of course. The only problem is that when I tried to visit it via Firefox I got this SSL Certificate warning:
So I tried to access it via IE11 and got the same warning.
She says I should click "I understand the risks" then click "I trust this site" - it's what she did to get around the problem. I always err on the side of caution and so am reluctant to follow her suggestion. Am I wrong? Is there really a problem, given that it's an HTTPS site?
