Need help in solving a new puzzle with missed scheduled backups: Using SSR 2013 R2 SP6 on Win 10 PC. I have scheduled My Computer Backups for Mon, Wed, Fri at 1am. During this current month the incremental backups have run routinely and successfully...until now. This week the scheduled backups for Wed and Fri failed. There's plenty of space available on the backup drive. I've not made any changes to my PC or SSR that I'm aware of. The Event Log for the most recent failure gives the following error info:
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backups.
Error E0BB0083: Unable to create incremental recovery point.
Error E7D1001F: Unable to write to file.
Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'The system cannot find the file specified.'
Error E7D10046: Unable to set file size.
Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'The device is not ready.' (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

Upon discovering each of these two successive backup failures, I was able to do a successful incremental backup by clicking the "Run Backup Now" option on the Home page. Also, a new recovery point set is scheduled to be created on the first backup of the month, which will be on Monday, 1 Aug.
Any ideas?
