Standalone VPN question

Hello,

I already have a subscription for Norton 360 but one of my Windows 11 PCs only needs a VPN.

Can I just install the VPN part?

Thanks!

You are welcome. Glad I could help.

Yes I do realise that a VPN is not fully featured anti-malware protection.

I downloaded and installed standalone Norton VPN to my windows 11 PC from the link provided in the reply above.

The process did work and automatically accepted my existing 360 subscription instead of extra payment.

Thanks for your help with this.

As I noted above, when you install the standalone VPN you will need to sign into your Norton Account. Doing that should pick up your 360 subscription to activate the VPN app.

You are aware that a VPN does not give any protection against malware?

I have a current 360 subscription with 5/10 unused subscriptions remaining. But I only want the VPN function on my new win 11 pc.

Since Norton standalone VPN is a separate product to 360 it is chargeable. So is VPN included in 360 as a separate thing or would I have to pay twice? Once for the 360 subscription and another time for the VPN on the Win 11 PC?

Thanks for your help.

Why do you say your one PC only needs a VPN? What AV product are you planning to use on that system? If you already have a Norton subscription, why not just uninstall the other solution and use your 360?

If you still decide not to use 360 on that system you could download the standalone Norton Secure VPN from   http://norton.com/nsvwin  During installation, logging into your Norton Account should pick up your 360 subscription to activate the app. This assumes you still have available activations available on your subscription.
