Subscriber died

My father died and I don’t have access to his email account. Seems he has a Norton subscription because money is withdrawn from his bank account and I am not able to cancel it because I cannot login to his Norton account. Support questions are only possible when you can verify the email address which I cant. Therefore, I made me my own account to be able to ask here how to end the subscription. Any advice? There is no direct support I can call and no subscriber died button :frowning:

@user13739 IF, you have access to the father’s banking accounts ask the bank block all future access for account renewals, give them the details behind what you are doing and also ask for the last renewal to be refunded by reason of death. The bank should be conducive with the issue you are seeing.

So far I spoke to the support they asked for the death certificate and said they would call me from another department to close this. But after that I only got an email saying that the case was interrupted and I need to contact them again. very strange

Hello @user13739
Thanks for sharing your progress.
You were able to reach “Chat” or you spoke by phone?
Did support generate a case/ticket ID?
Was the email you received a reply or noreply/donotreply email?
Did Norton provide/send a secure upload link?
Did you upload the required documentation?

Likely best to contact them again.
Maybe, try 844-488-4540 found on us.norton.com pages.

I’m guessing: When you provide details and Norton successfully pulls up the account, a “case interrupted” message is triggered by a failure in their ticketing system or backend processing workflow, rather than an issue with your information.
