Subscription alerts are a pain!

Because you have to wait until it gets to zero days to put in a new key or you lose the days on the current key. There are only two choices get a subscription or remind me later (that's a day or two).

Subscription alert Need remind in a month or two weeks or cancel reminders. I hate this every year the same thing! Fix it! Please!

Every year we get a number of people complaining that their subscription ran out without telling them, so there is no perfect world.  One of the best options I've seen is to contact Customer Service Chat, and see if they can enter the key and add the days back on that you would have lost.  I have seen them do this after the key was entered and a customer contacted them to get their days back.  Perhaps it can be handled proactively.  Also do not wait for the last day.  Anything could happen that close to the wire.

Hello

Please check out my thread in the New Ideas section of the Forum about this. Thanks.

Good suggestion floplot, I gave it kudos hoping it gets some attention.

I hate the warnings as well, they drive me crazy and are very annoying.  It seems like they start earlier now and are more frequent.

I have 3 different versions of Norton on my main systems so all of them use different subscriptions and end at different times.  I have to deal with the warnings almost 15 weeks every year.  No matter how hard I have tired I have never got below 5 or 6 days until they bother me so much I give up and enter a new key.

I'm all for having some way to disable them.
