Iām not sure in v2005. Are you still using that or are you going to do good and upgrade to 2008?
I have Norton Anti-Virus from 2005 from the pre-installed manufacturer's software. I have a subscription to Norton Anti-Virus which upgrades it to 2008, I just cannot seem to figure out how to download it without paying for it again. My subsciption began in April so I almost have a full year left. This should not be so complicated.
Please give me detailed information how to locate my subscription number or how to use my product key or serial number to update my Norton Anti-virus.

Just to clarify, it seems that you have an Activation Key for Norton AntiVirus 2005, that has been renewed a few times to make it current through 2008. Is this correct? Do you have Norton AntiVirus 2005 installed on your system already, or did you download Norton AntiVirus 2008, thinking you could apply your current subscription to that product?
I had a bug which Norton Anti-virus never detected. Basically, I could not reset my homepage in internet explorer so I decided to wipe the hard drive clean and re-install all the programs. Norton 2005 came with the installation. After my initial subscription, I bought the new Norton Anti-virus. I do not remember which version. Prior to wiping out the hard drive it upgraded my anti-virus to 2008, so I figured that since I had it before, had a log-on, I should be able to upgrade it to 2008. I remember having a subscription number when I bought it a couple of years ago but its been some time and do not have that number. Seems like since I have a log-on, I should be able to re-install what ever I bought. I just do not know how to do so. Perhaps Norton can refund my April subscription and I can start over. This is getting very frustrating.
