Yesterday, I bought another year of 360, but today I received the warning message that my subscription is about to run out. I went on the Account to save the order, and re-installed it, but the Subscription Renewal won't recognize it. I believe that it may be because I bought a different 360, if that is even possible. Can someone help?

Welcome to Norton Community:)
1. Login to https://account.norton.com/ using your Norton account credentials. Go to 'Products' page.
2. Check for the product which has maximum number of remaining days left (You can calculate this by the key's Expiration Date). Picture shown below
3. Click on the 'Download' button beside the expiration date
4. Install the product then the product will takecare of the activation.

Have you tried to Select Support from the main page of N 360 - and then Subscption Status? This should show the new license number of days remaining. How many days are shown on the main page of N 360.
