Suggestion for Auto-Renewal

My auto renewal was scheduled to occur yesterday (last night). Due to the high amount, my bank denied it and left a message to see if it was valid. I called Norton and was told it would be done in a certain amount of days. Now, every hour I'm getting annoying messages to update my account, fix my account, I'm going to loose my protection. Is there anyway this can be done so I don't have to see these annoying pop-ups?

Called late yesterday afternoon and the processed the renewal.

And what did Chase say?

AFAIK The charge will be submitted by Norton every few days until it is accepted. If you told Chase that this was a legitimate charge, it should go through on the next attempt.

No, it was a system generated email from Chase. When I called she said it would be billed in 36 days. I called Chase to advise.

Did you get any message when you confirmed the charge?

Did you ask the Norton Support agent to process the renewal while you were speaking with them?

Yes the banks email had all the detail and I had to confirm if the charge was valid.
The problem was the email was sent at 2am and I was asleep.

This is an example of why Norton takes the payments for auto renewal 30 - 45 days before the subscription expires.

Did the bank's message not have an option to verify the payment?
