Hi Allen
What is meant by "and it's been added to the list."?? do you mean add to the to do list, because I can't find the list (message board) anywhere.
Thanks
Quads
We and myself especially have asked for it as well. The whole forum is beta right now. It will probably come later when the forum gets out of beta stage

Sorry about that, perhaps I should have worded my response differntly. The forum team has an internal list of suggestions, wants, needs and other items under consideration. In reality, a malware removal board is not a completely new item on the list, but the feedback and suggestions we receive here in the Forum Feedback section, does help determine the priority of the ever changing list of improvements and additions that will be comming to the community in the future.
Again, thanks for letting us know your thoughts.

Its been added to the whitelist =P
Hi
I have a suggestion.
Have a new message board for people who need help with Malware / Virus /Trojan removal. Like for people who have recently posted in the NIS/ NAV product messaage board.
Then the user can use that board to ask, " I have Norton but how do I remove ..........." etc etc.
Just a suggestion
bye
Quads
Thanks for the feedback Quads! Good suggestion, and it's been added to the list.

Any suggestions on how you would like Custom Scan to 'remember' your last scan settings? Such as having a save button or just retain them so that when you click on custom again they are already checked?
Interesting idea that might also be useful in NIS
Thanks
I'm sure staff will pick up on it and throw it in the hopper for consideration in a future release
You know I was just surprised that the software didn't remember the settings from one time to the next and simply reverted to its preset. There's certainly nothing special with the preset so you'd have to think that the settings the user changes the custom to are at worse no worse and at best probably a setting that the user frequently would choose. I wouldn't bother with a save--just let the software remember.

360 is designed to be a plug and play, install and forget security product. It isn't intended to do all of the tricks that NIS has available. Adding features may be possible before there's too much overlap between products. Not a decision that can be made at my level [unpaid user].
I understand the point. However, my suggestion only involves a change in the current default. No user action required.

And I understand your point. It still involves making changes to the program. As more folks make comments on this topic we may get a feel for the community's value of the change and that could prompt Symantec to consider it for a future release. I can't take a side on this one because I don't use 360. I have kept NIS installed and current for years. Works well
Mark,
Norton Product Ideas Forum here is designed just for suggestions on improving the programs so please post your suggestion there -- or if you find someone else has done so add the kudos flag to his message since Norton Management do monitor that Forum and pay attention to suggestions as you can see by the Status that changes ....
