I have a Lenovo Yoga that was infected with Superfish. Luckily, I found out shortly after getting the pc in January about the Superfish adware and removed the program. Unfortunately, I didn't know anything about the certificates until today when I ran a scan with Norton Security. I deleted the certificate from Thunderbird and checked Firefox (Explorer and Chrome too, even though I rarely use them) and did not find the Superfish certificate. I restarted my pc and ran another scan only to be told by Norton that I had missed part of Superfish in my pc's cert8.db file. I found this file, but am hesitant to delete it since I'm not sure what it will do. Is it safe to delete this file? Is this file a threat? Should I ignore it? Thank you for any help that you can give me.
