Tried to contact support and I was referred to their you gotta have a verification code. It doesn’t do anything. I clicked, used two different browsers, theirs one of them. no code. Sneaky having something that doesn’t work. I uninstalled Norton, I rebooted the computer, I deleted the cache, I got rid of cookies and you know what I found??? It still doesn’t work. So I put everything back I could. I am guessing that the support person doesn’t want to be bothered. There was a time when Norton was the final word, might be, but as far as customer service not so much.

btw ~ I’ve not needed a verification code for Social Support or Chat Support.
I’ll receive a “verification code” sent to my Norton email address…just by opting Chat now.
On occasion Norton Chat agent wrote: I’m sending you a verification code…enter the code back to me. I’ll receive the email and type the number back.
Norton Chat agent usually just asks for my Norton email address.

btw ~ I’ve cobbled my Norton support via many times…thinking my help must be lacking …“if I change this or restate that” … surely, users will reach support…same as me.

I am on the yank side. probably the reason. oh I will do fine . If the email thing is the only issue, then I should be fine. and should some anti-virus for Apple MacOSX ever does as it says, then there I will go. I do get a lot of spam mail that I delete,set up rules, it deletes them. so we will see how this plays out. The important is the anti-virus/etc protection. I just won’t renew the email thing.
