SVCHOST trying to open Norton files and is blocked

So, recently I've been getting messages (between 20 and 30 a day) that say that SVCHOST.EXE has been trying to open seemly random Norton files but was blocked. It only started recently, I think the day I updated Norton. Is it normal to have this happen?

Hi lkjggfs:

Just wanted you to know that several people have seen the same thing happening with NIS since 09-Sep-2013 - see Call's post here.  I personally think it's related to defrags and Norton Product Tamper Protection (see my comments here) but we haven't found a definitive answer yet.  The general consensus is that it's not harmful to your system, but certainly unusual.

Ok, so it's fine then. I've been running scans and saw nothing. Good. Thanks for the help.
