After turning my kernel to 64 bit (Snow Leopard), Norton AV 11 stop working (ehh? It could not run with the 64 kernel???. Only with 32 bit kernel. LoL), and I need to remove it with Symantec Uninstaller in the 32 bit kernel mode.
But...
This **bleep** crappy software is still in my OS X. See the /var/log/system.log below;
I used following command in terminal:
clear ; uptime ; grep ymantec system.log|wc -l ; grep ymantec system.log|tail -10
Following results were abnormal;
Symantec Log events after reboot: 19758 (!!!!!!)
Uptime: 2 days and couple of hours.
...and the last ten (10) events from system.log;

...oh heck. Even I have Mac Pro equipped with two quad core Xeon's, this Symantec application throttles at least one CPU with 50-100% load. All the time. Whole system performance is taken down because badly coded software and non-working uninstaller.
I NEED A FIX. ASAP.
