I recently upgraded my laptop from Vista (internal modem) to a new laptop with Windows 10 (USRobotics 56K USB Modem). I was able to install Symantec Procomm Plus 4.8 and run correctly, with the exception, every time I close the application, I get a blue screen with a message "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you." I've tried contacting http://windows.com/stopcode for additional information on "WDF VIOLATION", but to no avail.
Has anyone else run into this problem and know of a fix? I'm a Nortel Voice Technician with 15+ sites (Opt. 81 and Opt. 11's) and use Procomm Plus to remote into the systems.
