Three times now, I've gotten a message that the Symantec service framework has stopped working while I'm working on an Office 2007 document (twice was Word, once was Excel). This is Norton Internet Security 2011 18.5.0.125, Windows Vista Home Premium. Both are set to auto-update so should be current on all updates. After the message, Identity Safe is no longer usable and Norton appears to be missing so I re-boot the system which clears everything up for an unknown period of time.

Any ideas on where to go next, what to check? It's only happened three times so very hard to figure out what is causing it. NIS 2011 was installed automatically after doing a "check for new versions" so however that does the install is how it was done.
