I'm running Win XP on a HD that has been partioned into thirds. Each partion has NIS installed on it, the service is paid for and the updates have been kept current. On one partion, I've noticed that I'm running out of disk space. This is a surprise. After further investigations on the partion that is running out of space a folder that has been compressed; C:/Program Files/Common Files/Symantec Shared is taking up 8GB. That folder's equivilent on another partion that is NOT compressed is taking up only 3GB.
This seems odd. Can someone help address this disparity? I'd like to gain more of my HD space back.
