system32 virus

My computer is safe. Norton Internet Security up to date, periodically full scans, autoprotect on. Anything suspicious is seem and gets deleted.

A friend gave me a program he built for he's clients. It's akind of password reminder / revealer for people who forget what they used (many people do!!). It had being detected as Heuristic system32."something else. in a client's system with another antivirus.

I checked the file. Nothing found.

Run anther spyware removal for double check: FOUND a system32 virus!!

I trust Norton. It has kept me safe for quite a few years now. But, I wonder how this things can happen. People get scare when the're notify by a program that they have a virus, you know... red flashing, warnings.

I've searched for info and there is such a virus about but, it can NOT be in this file as the programer, obviously didn't build it to be a virus.
