For some reason, Microsoft includes on new computers using their MS operating system, a trial copy of McAffe. I located in installed apps & uninstalled. Task Scheduler still has a McAffe folder but is empty.
Hopefully, uninstalling should stop pop-ups - unless you want MaAffe instead of Norton - just saying.
