Teredo Tunnelling pseudo-interface

I am using windows 7 and keep getting a blue screen, checking the Norton history and at the same time as the blue screen occurred Norton reports that it was:

"Protecting your connection to a detected network on teredo tunneling pseudo interface, IP Address: fe80::icea:101d:a6452%1y

Can anyone possibly throw any light, thanks

not too sure, but it seems no coincidence that the two should occur at the same time.

I also have the Terodo Tunelling pseudo-interface.  YOu could turn it off by going to service and turning off "IP helper" service.  That controls ipv6.

IPv4 is the present method of internet connection using the typical IP address that you are accustomed to seeing.  There is an increasing shortage of available numbers for addresses.  Eventually we will all be going to IPv6 which will increase the number and letter combinations for available addresses.  While software and router developers and manufacturers are gearing up to handle the new system, it is presently not in use.  Usually Norton just logs its availability.  It should not be the cause of a BSOD.

Are there any error codes available for the blue screen that might shed some light on which piece of hardware.  There is a utility that will assist in reading Windows dump files to possibly provide the name of the driver that is causing the crash.  Then a determination can be made about what to do about it.  There are instructions, explanations, and the download is near the bottom of the page.
