I can’t stop it, It add items in the tree and icons to the desktop. I don’t want backup, is there any to turn it off?
Hello Ben. From what you posted it appears you have have received the new Norton App version 24.xxx . That release is a throttled release, where not everyone is getting it and not at the same time. Fortunately, I haven’t seen it and cannot get you any screenshots. Maybe one or two Gurus may have gotten it by now.
There are others reporting the same issue you are having with backup. So its an issue needing fixed with the product and should have been vetted prior to release. Unfortunately, companies release things like this for the community at large to “test” and they gather data from it to further its development. There is a website with it advertised at the link below for review. I apologize that we cannot provide better information as we simply do not have it at present.
