Thunderbird Email Support

I've read several threads about email client support and I understand for the most part.

My question/comment is:  I use Thunderbird.  I pop my email from Yahoo Business, Gmail, and from my server at work.

The only email that gets marked [Norton AntiSpam] is the mail from my work server.  I've set Thunderbird junk controls to catch some of it, I've set Yahoo filters to catch some of it.

My concern is, why is it only marking one email address and not the rest?

I went into Client Configuration and everything is grayed out.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi HarryP:

I'm using NIS 2012.

I understand that Encrypted (SSL) Ports are not supported for AntiSpam or Email Scanning.

Is 360 any different?

To the OP... What e-mail ports are you using for inbound and outbound?

TIA,

Atomic_Blast :)

Hi Atomic_Blast,

You are right regarding SSL ports, what I meant was that the Auto-Protect will still scan the emails(incoming & outgoing). It is better explained here:

Sorry for the confusion, Norton 360, NIS & NAV use the same scan engine.

Thanks,
