My kids use an Asus Transformer TF300 with Android 4.1 I think (or 4.0?). Anyhow, while their time is monitored on their PC accounts, none of their time is logged on the Androids. I saw an outdated reference to a software fix (about 6 months ago), what's going on with Android?
The Android features page is terrible. I *just* discovered that I need my kids using the native browser, not Chrome, to monitor their web usage. Going to try that ... I thought that was broken too but maybe I can get it working now.
You write, "The program doesn't support time restrictions for Android devices currently."
You refer me to your product feature list.
On the product feature list, I find the text, "Set time limits on how much time each of your kids can spend on the computer."
Can you please tell me that you understand why I am confused and feel totally cheated?
Or maybe the problem is that I am a "premier" customer and not a "free" customer? Do I need to downgrade in order to get this feature?
I would also like to comment that I also formed the impression from your less-than-informative website that I would be able to monitor my children's web activity, and their YouTube video watching. However, I now know that they can use Chrome to evade the web activity monitoring and I have yet to see any video recorded even though my kids use the YouTube App frequently.
P.S. - I also use Norton 360 (5 licenses). While setting all this up was a lot of work, I suppose that I am going to have to switch to another vendor whose products actually deliver what they claim to???
Sorry for the confusion. It doesn't matter a user is a Norton Family Premier or basic free user, the program monitors time for PC and Mac, not for Android yet. The feature for Android is on the product enhancement list for future development.
