We were in US Eastern Time Zone when we installed Norton Family. After moving to West Coast, Norton Family appears to be stuck in Eastern Time Zone when it restricts my child's Windows 10 desktop computer. I have changed the computer's time zone to Pacific Time. I have changed the time zone in the Norton Family Parent profile to UTC-8 (Los Angeles). I have right clicked the systray icon and clicked Update House Rules. In the Norton Family app, I set the time restriction to not allow computer usage after 9PM. On the computer, the Norton Family would say time is up at 6PM. Please tell me what needs to be done to have Norton software also use Pacific Time for computer usage Time supervision.
Hi pcpc21,
Thanks for reaching out to Norton Family forum.
Upon analyzing the backend data, we could see that the time zone was updated on January 23rd.
Additionally, we noticed that the time was updated on February 1st in the child's windows machine. We suspect that this change may have contributed to the time supervision feature not performing as expected initially.
However, subsequent to the time adjustment, we notice that the time supervision feature has been functioning according to the configured house rules.
Please continue to monitor and reach out to us if the behavior persists. We will be happy to help.
Thanks,
Norton Family Team
