Time to do Full System Scan

I'm considering replacing my old computer (2004 Toshiba 17" laptop, 80GB C-Drive, 80GB F-Drive for GHOST 14, 1.5GB mem, 3.1GHz dual-core, Win XP SP3).

Likely I'll get a new computer with around a 500GB C-Drive.  So, this makes me wonder -- how long will it take to do a Full System Scan on that 500 Gig, with NIS 2011?

Seems like it could run "forever."  Using NIS 2010, my itty-bitty 80GB takes around 3-hours to do on my Toshiba -- and, this is with only about 25GB used of that 80GB.  Granted, I scan *everything* -- including System Volume Information, etc -- no exceptions.  [Found some nasty viruses in excluded areas in the past.]

Tks for any input on this.
