Hello Norton Community. I feel good after I walked outside 87-minutes, before a-little sprinkle of rain came to here, Asheville, NC. (Why is this a Big Deal? Because I came-back to life more than 18-years ago, on 9/11/93.) Still, I use Norton Antivirus v10.1.2 (001), from 2005. I own a [Crusty but-Trusty ] Macintosh G4 computer. (Hey. it boasts 640 MB of RAM. So my Mac does all that I need, for-now,) Because I am hard-wired to the Internet, I use LiveUpdate v3.5 (049) frequently. About LiveUpdate so-far in December, it has found 17.2 MB of Virus Definitions. (ALL were non-Macintosh infections, but I will pursue this point later.) I began December with 75,865 Total Virus Definitions. After 4 separate downloads in December, I have 75,871 Total Virus Definitions. Do these numbers seem High to anyone else? As I promised above, I ask about most of the Total Virus Definitions being non-Mac. “If they are non-Mac then, ‘Why on Earth should I seek them?’” NEVER does my Mac act as a PC. I’m a Mac user of 26-years: yes, I started my Mac Career in 1985 with a MacPlus. I thank you!
