About 8 months ago I switched to att Uverse for internet. Yesterday I was paying bills on internet and then I could not get back on the internet. I called Uverse and the tech took over my computer and among other things he took off my Norton Toolbar. I have gone into manage your add ons and enabled Norton and google toolbar. I reboot my computer but still no toolbars. Above all the toolbars, I miss my Norton Toolbar because it remembers my passwords and will automatically insert them when needed. I have Norton 360 and my internet provider Is att.yahoo.com PLEASE HELP ME !!! I use windows vista home premium
Hallo,

Hi
The tool bar protects you from from certain threats why do you wish to disable it?
I do not want to disable it, I just do not want it on my screen, taking up room.
Hi bikerart,
Just right click on the browser's menu bar or address bar and uncheck the Norton Toolbar in the context menu list. In Internet Explorer you will get a dialog box where you should uncheck Symantec NCO BHO and Symantec Intrusion Prevention to prevent them from also being disabled.
I must have right click a few times and nothing happened, I did it again more to the left side and whaddya know. thanks a ton!!
I had the same problem and ran a liveupdate which fixed it when I restarted my computer. You might try this to fix your problem.

Welcome
A few questions to start. Have you run live update and rebooted at least a couple of times? If you run live update now does the program tell you that all updates are downloaded and installed?
I think that RoadRunner is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) so your browser is Internet Explorer, which version? Aslo, what is your operating system and version? Are all of the updates current on it as well?
Thanks
Hi McGowan
Hi McGowan
Welcome to the Norton community forum
After you make the live update and restart your machine ,make sure the Norton Add-ons are Enabled .

Perhaps you could advise what browser you're using - and possibly what operating system. People might then be able to advise.
(Edited for spelling since the forum doesn't use the browser's spellchecker)
Hi mperry2, and welcome. If you are using Firefox, go to Tools/Add Ons/ Extensions and check if the toolbar is enabled.
In IE, go to Tools/Manage Add Ons and check if toolbar is enabled.
In Chrome, click on the 3 horizontal lines top right in the browser, click Tools/Extensions and check the toolbar is enabled there, too.
If all enabled, in IE and Firefox, click on View in the Menu bar, and check the toolbar is ticked. Hope that helps.
