Tracking cookies question

So tonight Norton did its usual monthly full scan. After it was done I checked the results, and nothing major, except tracking cookies. But 70 of them were found. Sort of concerned since the last time tracking cookies were removed was September’s scan, and only 5 were removed then. Each month it hasn’t detected any, and I haven’t even gone on the internet really on this computer. I mainly use it to play my MMO. So I find it weird I haven’t even gone on the Internet on this computer between December and January, but this month it finds 70 cookies. Why is this? I noticed it scanned 5000 extra files as opposed to last month’s scan. Maybe new updates caused it to root out old cookies? The last time I had this many cookies was early 2015 only once. Is this anything to be concerned about?
