Is there a way to completely stop Norton from removing Trojan.Gen.* items and not letting me restore them?
This is getting very frusterating. I had to disable Norton just to get a legitimate file installed.
This isn't the first time, this has happened on MANY legit files that I know what they are.
I am using the latest Norton provided by Comcast.
I looked in the "Exclude List" and it lists everything BUT Trojan.Gen
Any way to put Trojan.Gen on the list manually?
I do not have that option, below is list:
I have:
All
Adware
Dialer
Hack Tool
Joke Program
Misleading Application
Parental control
Remote Access
Security Assessment Tool
Security Risk
Spyware
Trackware
Ah, I just found it.
It's actually listed as "SONAR!Trojan.Gen.1"
Thanks for your help!
Hi GmDude66,
SONAR!Trojan.Gen.1 is different fron Trojan.Gen or Trojan.Gen.2.
Regards,
Shane.
