Norton Online Family software is not allowing my daughter to log in to Webkinz. It's a pop-up window after the login that's being disallowed. I have that domain specifically allowed (webkinz.com) and even the URL on the pop-up (mci2.webkinz.com). She gets a pop up from Norton Online Family that states [Removed] is not allowed. I have even tried to put that IP address in the allowable list but it won't let me. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

We had the same issue with Webkinz at first. Add http://mci2.webkinz.com to the allowed sites list. Should work fine then! GL!
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I already did that and it did not solve the problem.
Since the "address" was remove by the moderator I can't tell for sure, but it would appear that you have a DNS issue. That is, if the address being blocked is an IP address and not a named address, we cannot "rate" that site and therefore block it if you have "unknown" check for being blocked.
Wow that was really technical. Sorry about that, but that is what is happening. So how to fix it, well you could try and clear the DNS cache, which is how it resolves names such as www.symantec.com to an IP address. If you need more information on the following two items let me know.
At a command prompt do the following
1) ipconfig /flushdns
2) services.msc
- once there click "DNS Client" and press restart
Fortunately, I am moderately technical and understand all of that. I will try it tonight when I'm home at the PC. Thank you.
