Upgraded to 21.1.0.18 and feeling twitchy. In previous installations, I always had it set up so that Norton wouldn't skip any files and so that the Trust Level on the little "Secure"/system status square said 0% becase I wanted it to scan everything even if that meant longer scan times.
When I upgraded, the Trust Level jumped from 0% to 88% and I couldn't find the settings to tell it not to skip files. I contacted technical support and was told "That option is no longer available since Norton automatically detects those trusted and untrusted files on your system."
I guess my question is am I any less secure now that I can no longer tell it not to skip things? Does this mean Norton is saying 88% of files on my system are trusted?
Also, it seems like a strange option for them to take out.
