Trying to install 360 on Mac. Get to place where it wants to install helper tool and it won't take my password

Just got a new Mac and I am trying to download 360.  It gets to where it says that it needs to install a new helper tool and asks for my password.  When I type in the password I use to login into Norton, it will not accept it.
