I'm trying to recover a backup made with Norton Backup from Norton Utilities for Mac v2. Yep, way back in 1992. I don't expect that there's any way to do this with a modern version of the software (though it would be fantastic if it were), but I'm mostly trying to figure out if there's any record of the file format. Does Symantec still have information on old file formats? If I could get that information, I could write a restore utility.
It's ironic that the backup is the thing that's preventing me from retrieving my files...
