I have a laptop with 2 AV software's. I had KAS2010 originally an had it removed when i took the laptop in for sound problems, they did a restore an then installed Norton 2010 . But KAS2010 is back in the menu an add an remove . Question how do i remove KAS with out messing up anything . dv7-1448dx laptop vista64 upgraded to win7 64
After you remove the other Antivirus program thoroughly, I would then uninstall your Norton product and reinstall it while you are offlne. I am saying this because the install of your Norton product may have been faulty because the other software was installed also. If you follow this procedure, then you know you should have a good install of the product.
I would consider following floplots suggestion. 64 bit can be quite fussy still. The idea is to get a clean install of Norton without time consuming corrections later. JMHO
