Two issues with Norton Family

I am having two issues with Norton Family, I have not seen a fix for either on in this forum.

 

The first issue is I started getting web sites blocked on my user id which is not monitored and emails are showing up that it was my daughter id that went to the site. Then my second issue is I am getting multiply Norton Family icons in the task bar. 

 

If I reboot the problem will go away for awhile but will reappear within a day. I removed Norton Family and reinstalled, no help.

 

It seemed to start up after I installed Chrome, 

 

Using Windows 7 with latest updates.

If you can reproduce the first issue (your account is monitored), I'll be glad to setup a remote session with you to check it further. Please check me a private message in the forum for details.

 

For the second issue (multiple Norton Family icons), it's a known issue and the team is working on this.

My issues are multiply Icons showing up in task bar and unmonitered accounts getting monitored.

One new issue I have noticed is my son is allowed to visit facebook, but gets blocked. Message I get in my email was my daughters account attempted to go to facebook.

For the multiple icons issue, it has been corrected in the latest Norton Family 2.6.0.61.  Please make sure you have the latest version installed on the child's PC.

 

For the monitoring wrong account issue, the team is working on the issue.

 

As for facebook, please make sure the Social Networking category is not blocked and facebook.com is not on the block list neither for the child online.
