I have Fixed Fibre Broadband (Fibre 500 plan) from Vodafone UK.
I have a phone (Pixel 6a, Android 14) and a Laptop Windows 11 23H2.
On the phone I have Norton 360 App, and the Laptop I have Norton for Windows with the Norton 360 Premium subscription.
Both devices connect to the Vodafone router - same WiFi, same DHCP/DNS settings, etc..
On the Laptop - VPN does not work.
On the phone - the VPN works.
So, what is so different about the Windows 11 based Norton Secure VPN compared to the Norton 360 Android App ?
I see others have the same issue. Is there any fix ?
I think this might be the same issue

There's a long list of things you can try in this article:
https://www.top10vpn.com/guides/norton-vpn-not-working/
The similarity that I could find in this problem is the RasClient error 87.
But I have no time to research it.....
OK - I'm using the Norton client. Back to my Original Question, does anyone know why it doesnt work with Vodafone UK Fixed Broadband ?
Do not us the Windows 11 built in client. Use the Norton 360 VPN, there shouldn't be any personal settings to install it nor to get it to function. Unless there is already a default VPN profile registered in Windows 11, which was the purpose of the last post and for you to check. This article may help.

Thats for a VPN defined in Windows (using the Windows 11 inbuilt VPN Client).
Are you saying I can use Norton VPN using this client ? What are the definitions ?
I was under the impression I needed to use the Norton software as the VPN client.
Hello Steve. Have a look at this MS article:

If it’s for a VPN service you subscribe to for personal use, visit the Microsoft Store to see if there’s an app for that service, then go to the VPN service’s website to see if the VPN connection settings to use are listed there.
