Unable export passwords to Excel

I have tried to follow the instructions to export passwords from Password Manager. However I do not see the ‘export my vault data’ option in settings.

Can anyone provide advice please?

For information here are the instructions I found elsewhere:

Export your Norton Password manager data from browser

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Click Norton Password Manager on the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. Do one of the following:
  • If you have signed in to your Norton account
    • In the pop-up screen that appears, click Unlock vault.
  • If you have not signed in to your Norton account
    • In the pop-up screen that appears, click Sign In and sign in to your account
  1. Do one of the following:
  • If you have set up Passwordless Vault Unlock, click Approve on your mobile device to log in to your Norton Password Manager vault.
  • If you have not set up Passwordless Vault Unlock, click Use Your Vault Password on your Norton Password Manager browser extension.
  1. In the Unlock your vault window, type your vault password and click Unlock.
  2. Click the Norton Password Manager extension icon and click Open Web App.
  3. In the Password Manager window, click Settings.
  4. In the Settings window, under My Data, click Export my vault data.
  5. In the Export my vault data window, click Export.If you receive a prompt to enter your password, type your vault password and click Unlock.
  6. Your Password Manager data is exported as a CSV file.
  • Users may export their vault data as an unsecure CSV file which opens in Notepad and is readable and may be printed.


  • Users may Import their exported unsecure CSV file

Also try having a blank work sheet open in Excel when you export. You can export CSV files into Excel and your results will come out as a table. From there you can either print or save.

I do not see that option. Under My Data I only see:
Import Data to My Vault
Sync Vault
Delete Norton Password Manager vault

OS Details:
What browser? browser version#?
Norton Password Manager version #?

Have you tried restarting you computer after adding/importing your passwords? I believe I had to restart my computer, but that may just be how it happened with me.

I have tried restarting again and it worked! (In Edge browser not Chrome).
