Unable to Activate

I purchased Norton 360 V5 for three computers.  First install and activation was on my laptop with no trouble.  I then installed and tried to activate on my home computer - hah!  Will not activate.  I have been on chat, phone and let Norton have remote access to my computer numerous times.  Still won't activate.  It's been uninstalled and reinstalled by tech support.  I keep getting passed up to the next level of supervisors who can't get this working.  I am beyond frustrated!  HELP!!!

I was running AVG and MalWare Bytes.  These were removed remotely by tech support.  There is no other security software running on my computer.

OK. So it is the geo lock 'feature' kicking in. You should be fine when you get back in the US.

I tried to activate my subscription. After inputting the product key, I got an error message "Unable to Activate: Your product key is not valid for your region and cannot be used to activate the product (-2009)".

My subscription is valid for the United States,  

So you purchase the subscription in the United States?

and my registered address is in the United States.

Are you currently in the United States? If not you are getting blocked by the Geographic Lock Norton uses to help protect their product from being used in areas of the world that it is not legal. You would not be able to activate using that key until you get back into the United States.

Does anyone know why I cannot active my subscription? Many thanks.

Correct - As per "Frequently Asked Questions" in the Hot Links at the top right side of the Norton Core board :

"Will Norton Core work outside of the US?
 
Norton Core will only work in the US. It will not work outside the country where you purchased it." 

I also met the same issue and wonder if Norton core is limited to activate in U.S? I asked my friend to bring it back to Taiwan and now it is not working.

All: Please ensure that the mobile device you are using to connect to the core router supports Bluetooth BLE. Check your device hardware specifications with the manufacturer as this is required. Also, when connecting via Bluetooth select "make your device discoverable by nearby devices" and try NOT to pair the device with the core router. This is an issue with some older devices that support Bluetooth LE, skip to step 3 of the setup and progress from there. Hope this helps.

I followed instruction from my phone, but when the hookups were made, there was no activation.

If you are still unable to activate your Norton Core, this type of issue is easier to troubleshoot by calling Norton Support: 1-855-966-7866. 

Afterwards, come back and let us know what the problem was and how it was resolved.  That information may help other users who are experiencing a similar situation.
