Detailed description: Received a new mobile device and trying to have it set up in Norton Safe Web but the mobile unlock isn’t recognizing it.

When you get a new phone, it is not the phone number that is recognised for Passwordless Unlock, but the individual Norton Password Manager, NPM, app installation serial number. You need to go into the Passwordless Unlock settings in your browser and remove the old phone. Then on the new phone go to the NPM app and tap on the three bars at the top right, then tap on Settings. Then tap on Enable Passwordless Vault Unlock from this device. Then set up the passwordless unlock on the computer again.
Thank you for your response. I’ve never had this problem before when getting a new phone. I have taken all the steps you mentioned. Most of those steps I have done many times. I’ll keep trying. Thank you again.
