After installing N360 v5, cannot connect Nokia N78 phone via blootooth. Any ideas? Tried putting the MAC address of the phone in Network Trust, but no joy.
Did or didn't you used the Nokia OVI software via the connection?
Yes, have been using Ovi. Was working fine until installed N360 v5 (ie worked ok on v4). Bluetooth stack operating ok. Vista can pair with the phone, but Ovi (or any other s/w) cannot "see" the phone - presume N360 is blocking. Tried adding phone to the "Trust Network" with full rights, but made no difference. May just have to give up and use the USB cable.
I assue you installed Norton 360 v5 simply over v4, and did not used the Norton Removal Tool.
If this is true, please follow these steps:

- for other languages than English please go to the Norton Update Center: www.norton.com/nuc
3. Download Norton Removal Tool: www.norton.com/nrt
4. Disconnect from internet
5. Remove the old Norton 360 version from Start Menu or from Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs
6. Reboot
7. Run the Norton Removal Tool, reboot (repeat it 2-3 times)
8. Install Norton 360 version 5 with the downloaded installer
9. Reconnect to the internet
10. Activate Norton 360 version 5 with the same key you have for the older version
11. Run Live Update until you get no new updates
12. Restore your Identity Safe data (Settings ->Identity Protection -> Restore)

hi
Check the settings in your phone for bluetooth/cable...
i.e the phone to be in mass storage mode automatically while you connect to the PC ....
Hi, Yes - I did just upgrade from v4. Sorry I didn't get back earlier - bit busy.
Today tried reinstalling nokia Ovi first - no luck. Then tried removing the bluetooth dongle and reinstalling the drivers and bingo! Seems to work ok now. Not sure if N360 was part of the problem or not, but didn't need to go through reinstalling it.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks - phone settings were ok. Fixed the problem by removing bluetooth dongle and reinserting/reinstalling drivers. All ok now.
