Unable to login to Norton Family app after session expiration

Issue abstract: Login problem after automatic login out on Android app, which after some time logs out with comment that session has ended.

Detailed description: When login problem occur, the only working solution I’ve found so far is to uninstall app and install it again. Clearing cache or other files gathered by app doesn’t work at all. This makes using app not functional at all.

Product & version number: Norton Family 7.8.1.19

OS details: Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.20.0.UNCEUXM, Android 14 UKQ1.230804.001

What is the error message you are seeing? “Session Expired, please login again” or something like that.

Ok. Let me check that.

As I wrote in issue description it takes time between occurance of this issue, usually couple of weeks so I would like to confirm you if it’s solved beginning of next month.

I’ve had this same issue a few times. I’m currently having it now. Tried force closing the app, clearing the app cache. Tried removing the storage for the app but it takes me to the house rules in the app for some reason( which shows empty).
I was able to login to the forums, but it’s still not letting me even get to a login page.

uninstalling and reinstalling did seem to then display the login page.
