Hello, desperately hoping someone can help me because I am extremely frustrated trying to solve my issue!
Okay, so background information: the laptop I am using was used by someone else previously who had Norton 360 installed under their email address. This elapsed ages ago and when the laptop was back in my possession I decided to renew the Norton 360 but purchased the renewal under my own email address.
That is all okay, Norton 360 is registered to me and works, I have linked the upgrade to my account.
However, I am unable to use the Online Backup that comes with Norton 360. When I go to register for the Online BU, the previous persons email address pops up - I click to change the email address and try to sign in using my details. However, each time I do this I get the following error:
"Setting up your online backup and registering your product is NOT COMPLETE.
This product was already registered to a different Norton Account on Saturday, October 22, 2010.
To correctly setup Online Backup access, please click RETRY now to sign into the Norton Account."
This is so annoying because as I mentioned, the new product that I downloaded IS registered to me! Please tell me there is a solution to this - otherwise I'm going to feel a little ripped off since I'm not able to use all the features of the product!
