For about four weeks now, my computers have been experiencing an irregular problem where shutting down Windows takes up to 10 minutes because Norton can't quit. I've attached a screenshot of the error. Will a patch be released for this? Windows 11 26.1000.6725
Hello bibbes. Windows 10 or 11, what version and build? Also what is the version of Norton installed? Have you:
-Ran sfc/ scannow from an Admin command prompt to check for file corruption? Rechecked
-Disable fast startup in either the BIOS settings, in Windows settings or both? Rechecked
-Have you looked at system config to see what is loading with Windows that may be causing Norton to hang? I just had another user find that another 3rd party startup entry was preventing Norton UI from opening, Open the services tab, then check the small box in the lower left corner to hide all Microsoft services and look for things that you believe you should disable. Below is an example screenshot.

Hello SA, my System: Windows 11 26.1000.6725, I have checked the above tips, but no change. I would say, that my systems (4 Computer) shut down within 5-10 Minutes in 50% , the other 50% evrythings works well within 5 seconds.
