The upgrade process went smoothly on 2 PC's for me. A couple of things I wanted to just mention:
1) It did not retain my password from 2010 to 2011-i just reset it
2) Can I delete the 1 folder and 1 file on my desktops that are called Norton Installation folder and NIS10UPEN?
I had suggested it for 2010 and I'm still going to suggest it as it is not in 2011:
When doing a full virus scan, there should be some type of percentage indicator of files completed (yes I know it shows the number of files). There are many times when I do a full virus scan I don't know how much longer it's going to take and I get interuppted and have to cancel.
