Hello. I was browsing the web and I was on google and I clicked a link that was "safe". However, it paused midway and it stopped loading the page. Norton then told me that there was an intrusion attempt. I am very worried and I am trying to figure out how this can occur. Do I currently have malware on my pc? Or was it an attack? Please help me

When looking at that screen shot, it looks like your computer was the one which was the source of the malware attack. I'm wondering if something on your computer was trying to call home and that is what got blocked....... I think that would explain why you thought you were going to a safe site, but still got blocked.

It looks like this one comes via a Drive by on Google Analytics (which happens from time to time) using javascipt or a cross scripting exploit..
If you browse to all sorts of other sites including security sites and the Intrusion Prevention alert does not appear, you are fine.
Norton is correct in stating from you PC as it happening from Firefox which is installed on your PC. You will see where it states ................\firefox.exe
