Can you please post in this thread the details of your Office and Outlook Anti-Spam Issues.? Please include Norton version, Office version, Outlook version, when this Issue started, any error messages and screen shots if possible. Please keep this thread on topic. Please include any other pertinent information about Office Issues.. Thanks.
Way too many threads on this topic throughout the forum. Pointless to discuss other products when we want what we paid for fixed.
Office 2010 & Office 360 on two computers with Norton Security 22.8.0.50- Norton Anti-Spam does not seem to do anything, have to manually mark spam from inbox and Norton doesn't seem to remember. Outlook's own anti-spam filter seems to work better.
So, a feature that is advertised yet doesn't work- and now word from Norton about fixing.
Does not matter. And yes I do know everything. I have used every single security product out there. You should be using Kaspersky Small Office Security. Just like Norton Security is for home users. For a business they need to use Norton for small businesses. A good business uses DNS filtering to filter spam also.
Verizon is my provider. We use Outlook for business. The solution is really simple, by Kaspersky Internet Security which is faster, cheaper, and works across not just the computers, but the cell phones as well. Couldn't wait for Norton to fix anymore. I sent in all required by their tech service (worthless) and still no fix. Sorry, was a Norton user since Norton Utilities was first developed, with a real company who cared about their customers. Remember, take care of your customers or someone else will. Have a nice day!
How is your email provider? Yahoo? Gmail? Outlook.com (aka Hotmail)? Spam is filter there first and foremost. Unless you have your own email and domain there is no need for Outlook now a days.
Recently bought Outlook 2010 for one computer, and Outlook 360 for another.
On both computers, Norton AntiSpam is in toolbar, and checking settings in Norton is turned on for Outlook.
Yet Norton AntSpam does nothing, have constant spam in my inbox and have to click and identify each and every one as spam on the Outlook Norton AntiSpam toolbar.
From so many posts, it seems it just doesn't work, no one at Norton has a solution either. Yet you still include it in Norton products and advertise it.
