Using Ghost 15.0 to replace an old SSD with new SSD

Of course I have a good image created off the current installed SSD.  The SSD is my boot drive with Windows 7.  To replace it with the same size and PN SSD, is it better to create a clone of this drive or just remove the old one/install new one and use the image I have?  Being a boot drive not sure the best way to go.

Also, is there a tutorial somewhere that takes you through this?  I have the manual of course but wondered about a tutorial.

jhdeerslayer,

The latter is the best way to do it, whatever you do you need to create unallocated space on the new drive, do not format it or give it a drive letter. Follow these instructions Here for the best way to create a "Clone" using the "Image-Transfer" method.

This assumes that you have no "complicated" partitions if the primary drive has partitions then highlight all of them (probably 3 or 4) and create another recovery point on your external drive before you start.

Tutorials don't always give you the full practical instructions, you could if you wish post a pic of your disk management and if you run into trouble we can guide you through the process.
