Using Norton Ghost with Different Drive Sizes?

Hi folks, I tried scouring the Internet for an answer but I can't find anything on it, hence why I am here.

I'm looking into copying my hard drive using Norton Ghost as the drive is getting old and I need to replace it soon before it drops dead.  The original hard drive is 80gig, while the new hard drive is 320gig.  One problem I have had when I have attempted to use other software to clone my hard drive is that it makes the new hard drive look like it only has a size of 80gig.  The rest of the space (according to windows and such) doesn't seem to exist.

Will Norton Ghost be able to make a complete backup of my old hard drive to my new hard drive, and still leave the other 240gig as free space, or will it also make windows think I only have an 80gig HD again?

theblackdog,

From Disk Management, how many partitions are on your old HD? Sizes? Laptop or desktop? Brand? What you desire is possible.
