I have installed Norton Utilities 15 on a new build (home computer). Whenever I double-click the icon to start the program, Windows user account control pops up, asking, "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" I am the sole user and have administrator rights. I have encountered no such problem with Norton Internet Security or any other software installed on the computer.
When Norton Utilities launches on its own to perform weekly scanning, Windows user account control does not pop up and no user action is required.
Any solution/suggestions, other than to uninstall and reinstall NU15? If reinstallation is necessary, should I do so from the CD-ROM, or download from the Norton website?
