Vault export on Windows 10 PC basic questions

Hi everyone, the most important question is what the word export means , are you exporting/deleting the complete vault or just a copy of the Vault to a readable file ?
What vault information is exported ? IE, does it include the notes I have made to get on some sites.
Have you any tips or warnings.
Sorry if the question has been asked before but cant find it if so. Have just seen Visit the Archive board so will give it a go.

  • Users may export their vault data as an unsecure CSV file which opens in Notepad and is readable and may be printed.

Hi bjm,
Thanks for your quick reply and help again, I think you may have miss read my question. Its not so much how you export for printing but more basic ,What is being " exported". Directly will I have an empty password vault after exporting or is it just a copy of my vault that is being exported ? My follow up questions would have been helpfull to have your knowlege off , but can work out

Hi all, have now exported my vault and it ended up in an Excel file which when you print is unreadable as the columns are too narrow to give all the information. What am i doing wrong.

Hello. The format has to be different for columns to be formatted correctly. Give this a try to get the correct formatting for printing.

Thanks SoulAsylum, That worked for hard copy of vault, shame Norton don’t give that info but that is why we need GURU’s like you to help.
